Welcome to our blog!

Hello Parents,

This year, the staff at Sir William Osler School Aged Child Care program are looking at new and exciting ways to keep the parents informed and up to speed on what is going on in program. One of the ways we have branched out and will be experimenting with,is the use of a blog.
We hope this blog can help you with reminders and keep you informed on what your children will be doing during their time with us.

I would also like to take the time to introduce myself and Ashley a little more
My name is Andrea, I have worked with the YMCA School Aged Child Care program for 3 years and in May of last year came over to join the team at SWO from Earl Kitchener Elementary.

Ashley has worked with the YMCA Summer Camps in previous years and is incredibly excited to be helping out with our science experiments this year. Ashley brings to SWO a lot of knowledge and great ideas to make this a fantastic fun filled year. She has a lot of fun filled activities in the works and we can't wait to see how they all come together.

My goals this year includes some fun and exciting themes which will focus not only on the Ys 4 core values but exploring the world around us. From discussions about the stars and planets to a week devoted to "when I grow up" where the children can explore what they'd like to achieve in the future.

I encourage you to come to me anytime you have a question or concern and I will do whatever I can to get you an answer or solution
